Such a loss.  Everyone loved Joyce and loved to be around Joyce, she would brighten up anyone's day.  We are so sorry Royce and Tammy for losing her so soon.  love from Ant Cindie 




Joyce was like a sister to me for many years, We had the most wonderful times and adventures when we worked on renovations at the Flamingo nightclub. I rented a little space behind her suite in Queensborough and we had so much fun and it was a special time in our lives. Her boys were the love of her life and all grew up to be such fine young men with such a strong sense of family. The French men from Montreal who rented some of the upstairs rooms helped me learn to laugh again after I was going through a difficult time in my life. I spoke with Joyce several times and we just never were able to get together because of covid and health issues. Heaven has a wonderful angel now and I know she will save me a seat when it is time to join her. Rest well with the angels Joyce. You are loved by so many that you always helped and had time for. 

I  just heard of Joyce's passing.   Joyce played a big part in the Vermette family.  Joyce and I  always said we would stay in touch but unfortunately we didn't  or I would have  known to expect this.  Please accept our condolences Royce and Tami and our apologies for not reminding your mom of how much she was loved and respected  by the Vermette family.

This is April 2nd 2021 and knowing that it is Joyce's birthday today, went on Facebook to wish her happy birthday and seen messages of RIP, etc. and found out that she had passed. Don was a second cousin to Joyce. Don reunited with her & Gerry in 1967 in Fleetwood, Surrey and that is when Marti meet her. We became very best friends and we all went to many gatherings together and we also were there with Joyce when her husband Gerry died in a car accident.  As we got older, we never got to see each other very often. We had moved to the Interior of BC and Joyce had first moved to Mission, then Kelowna and then back to Mission. We are so devastated by this sudden news today and we both are in grieving now over our beautiful cousin and friend. R.I.P. We will meet again one day!

I just recently heard your Mom passed away in February.  I am so sorry to hear that and my condolences  to your family.  I am an old friend of your Mom’s dating back to our teenage years.  I have some pictures of your mom and dads wedding, etc, that I would like to send to you if you could provide an address..
