Born in Charlotte, NC on May 12, 1931 to parents Walter (Dobbin) Dulin and Alma Dulin. Ken attended Tech High School in Charlotte, NC and went on to work at Highland Park Manufacturing where he met his wife Bernice, he later worked at Champion Map for 25 years and retired from Rand McNally in 1991.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hobbies including hunting, fishing, gardening, boating and camping. He was a member of Mt Harmony Baptist Church. Above all else, he was a man of faith and family. Ken and Bernice married on January 30, 1949 and were happily married for 73 ½ years. Loving parents to Ray, Beverly and Tammy, 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Ken is predeceased by son Kenneth Ray Dulin, Parents Walter (Dobbin) Dulin and Alma Dulin and sister Shirley D Kirby. He is survived by his sweetheart Bernice T Dulin, daughter Beverly D Stephenson, daughter Tammy D Cauble (Gary) and daughter-in-law Patty McCrary. Grandchildren Angie Ramsey (Lee), Matt Stephenson (Misti), Sherry Gustafson (Bruce), Teresa Coltharp, Neal Cauble (Stephanie), 11 great-grandchildren, brother Robert C Dulin (Peggy) and aunt Iola Deese.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 12:00pm at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
