Passed peacefully surrounded by family on 2/28/2018. Preceded in death by his parents, Wendell & Eva (Schumann) Mogren. Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Carol; children, Andrew Mogren and Jennifer (Terry) Brodsky; grandchildren, Madeline & Zachary; sisters, Margaret Johnson & Mary Mogren (Vern Fetter); also by many loving relatives & friends. He graduated from Edison High School in 1962 where he lettered in baseball and football. Skip worked as a pipe fitter for 43 years, with 39 of those years at Yale Mechanical. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He and Carol enjoyed many golf trips over the years. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, 3/6/2018 with visitation one hour prior at St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 6180 Hwy. 65 NE, Fridley. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Health Partners Alzheimer's Treatment & Research.
