Patricia J. Wilson

She was born January 21, 1934 in Lake Forest, Illinois, to Charles Wolz and Helmi (Johnson) Wolz. She graduated from Ironwood High School, Ironwood, MI. and later attended U of M-Morris, Morris, MN. Patricia was married to John (Jack) Trier and was later remarried on June 16, 1990, to Marvin Wilson. They were married 14 years until his death. Patricia worked in banking for Midwest Federal and later Twin City Federal in Minneapolis and JC Penney’s until she retired. She enjoyed painting, crafts, Bible studies and her church, Gloria Dei Lutheran in NE Minneapolis.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, John Trier and her second husband, Marvin Wilson.

She is survived by three children, Debi Trier Dums, Sevierville, TN, Pam Trier Hudgins of Chattanooga, TN, and Peter Trier, of Hopkins, MN; grandchildren, Ryan and Michelle Dums, Toni Dums of Houghton, MI, David Nikita (Danielle) Hudgins of Washington, DC; and one great grandchild, Paisley Skye Terrell; cousin, Ruth Trexler, of Lake Worth, FL and other family and friends.

The entombment funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 2nd at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Angels in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd, NE, Minneapolis, MN. Rev.

Dean Gade of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church will be officiating.

A Memorial Service will be heard at 2:30 pm on Monday March 6, 2017 at CrestView Senior Communities. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sunset Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN or to CrestView Senior Community, Columbia Heights, MN.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Health and Rehabilitation of New Brighton and CrestView Nursing Home, and Allina Hospice for their care and support during Patricia’s battle with her cancer.
