Matthew B. Kemper

Age 31 of Lino Lakes, died peacefully at home on Aug. 11th, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Matt was born May 20th, 1979 in Rapid City, SD. He graduated from Centennial High School in 1997 and the College of St. Catherine in 2002. He worked as an xray technologist at Abbott Northwestern Hospital for 8 years and loved his job and coworkers very much. Matt enjoyed golf, softball, football and spending time with family and friends. He was well known for his sense of humor and practical jokes. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, son and friend. Matt is survived by his wife of 5 years, Amanda; and his beautiful daughters, Ella and Addison. He is also survived by his parents, Mark and Susan Kemper; sisters, Erin (Eric) Nehring and Carly Kemper; nephew, Caleb Nehring; grandparents, Pereley (Lola) Clelland and Marie Kemper, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Regina Clelland and grandfather, Alfred Kemper. Matt handled his difficult illness in the same way he lived his life: with quiet dignity and grace.
