She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Lynn spent most of her life in St. Paul where she and her husband ran their own cleaning business, she pursued her love of gardening, loved listening to the blues, cared for her multitude of cats, and read everything from the classics to current best sellers and, her favorite, Smithsonian magazines. Lynn was incredibly intelligent; her family and friends considered her a walking encyclopedia. Beyond all of her other passions, she was ferociously devoted to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Alice Schanke, and is survived by her husband, John Patrick Riley; her daughters, Rebecca (Larry), Jenny; sisters, Trudy (Gary), Sara (Dennis), Jo Ellen (Phil); and grandchildren, Gabriel, Sadie, Cooper, Christian and Avery; along with many nieces, nephews, a grandniece, and friends. She will be deeply missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will take place in April 2025, near her birthday.
