John Charles Houtz, age 88, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in the arms of the love of his life, Patricia Sullwold. Also, survived by sons Peter (Torey) and Paul; many cousins and friends.
John served in the Army, was a dear English teacher at Kellogg High School, and was proud of his time in the Peace Corps in Ukraine. Vintage racing, bulldogs and humanities were his passions.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May19 at 1:00 pm with visitation starting at 12:00 pm. Inurnment in Sunset Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
