Jane A. Kuntz

Kuntz, Jane Anelyn (Anderson), born on February 22,1929 in Lowry Minnesota, Pope County, passed away on January 28, 2018 at the Wellstead of Rogers from complications of Parkinson’s and Cancer. Jane grew up on a farm in Ben Wade Township, pope county Minnesota. She went to school in District 26 and then went to live in the cities with her uncle Henry L. Anderson and finished high school at the School of Agriculture University of Minnesota. Upon graduating she went to work at Honeywell where she became miss Honeywell and later met her husband Don. She was married on June 28,1968, and worked for 36 years at Honeywell, retiring in July of 1989. Jane was a lover of cats and enjoyed gardening, playing cards and sewing, since her grandmother taught her how to sew on the old push sewing machine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Sophia (Amundsen) Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald H. Kuntz; brother, James A. Anderson (Lowry); Sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Lowell) Klose of Rush City, Joann (Harlan) Wegscheid of Lester Prairie; Geri (John) Peterson of Shoreview; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services 11 AM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Mpls, Minnesota with Visitation beginning one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
