Passed away on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019.
Irma was a simple woman who enjoyed puzzles, bingo, going to church and spending time with her family. She worked at Cedar Lake Taxidermy in Deer River. She will forever be remembered for her famous, “Irma Wave”.
Preceded in death by husbands, Kenneth Nyberg & Marion Howard; sons, Ray & Rodney; and 17 brothers and sisters.
Survived by children, Sue (Mike) Higgins & Cheryl (Ron) Olson; grandchilden, Lisa, Chad, Cole, Kenny, Zach, Chris, & Brad; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother; and many nieces, nephews & friends.
A service of remembrance will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, October 9th at Sunset Funeral Chapel (2250 St. Anthony Blvd., Minneapolis). Visitation one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial Sunset Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family.
