Wayne always believed and lived with the mentality of "family first". He had an unwavering commitment to ensuring everyone in his family was alright and taken care of. His love for his family was paramount in his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A dedicated Yankees fan, Wayne's enthusiasm for sports was infectious. He enjoyed lively discussions about games and players, bringing joy to those around him with his passion.
Wayne had a natural knack for humor that could lighten any mood, even unintentionally. His warm smile and genuine laughter were constants in his interactions with others.
Wayne is survived by his devoted spouse, Maureen; his sons Christopher (Keri) and Thomas (Kelly); his cherished grandchildren Scarlett, Caleb, Olivia, Quinn, and Chloe; his sisters Jean and April; his brother-in-law Larry (Kathy) and many nieces and nephews who will deeply miss him. He was preceded in death by his brothers Randy and Bryan and his sister-in-law Cathy and her husband John.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitations to honor Wayne's memory. The first visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by the second visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25a, Miller Place, NY 11764.
A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 9:30 AM at Saint Anthony's of Padua Church, 614 NY-25A, Rocky Point, NY 11778.
