James Joseph Keegan Jr.

James Joseph Keegan Jr., age 85, of Sound Beach, New York passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Loretta Capobianco Keegan. He is the cherished father of four: Elizabeth (Tony Molloy), James J. (Joy), Christopher (Lynn), and David (Margie). He is the adored Grandfather of ten: Conor, Jimmy, Lauren, Grace, Jack, Nicky, Olivia, Dylan, Carter and Keira, and the beloved older brother of Mel, John, and Mary.

James was predeceased by his parents James and Virginia Skinner Keegan, and his brother, Denis Keegan.

James was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 15, 1937. He is a former esteemed Internal Revenue Service Agent.

A visitation for James will be held Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764.

A funeral mass will occur Monday, October 24, 2022 at 9:45 AM at St Louis de Montfort RC Church, 75 New York Ave, Sound Beach, New York 11789.

An interment and military honors will occur at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
