Winifred Sabina Copling Bradley “Peggy” passed away November 10, 2017 at the age of 97. She was born on April 10, 1920 in Pakefield, Suffolk, England to Sabina Reynolds Copling and Wilfrid Oliver Copling, and came across the ocean to Salt Lake City, Utah when she was 5 years old. Peggy attended Granite High School and graduated from the University of Utah. She was a school teacher, accomplished musician and opera singer with a beautiful soprano voice. After he returned from serving in WWII, she married Wallace Bradley in 1948. Peggy loved to entertain friends and family and always remembered everyone’s birthday. A talented seamstress and very creative, she was always busy with a project. She worked with her husband in the family business, Bradley Candy, loved her neighbors in the Canyon Rim area and was able to live in her home until age 97. The wonderful sense of humor of our mother, grandma, great grandma and auntie will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally, her younger brother Richard Copling, and grandson Bradley Rich Hawkes, and survived by her daughter Jane Bradley Hawkes, granddaughter Emily (Jimmy) Bokinskie, great- granddaughters Macee and Charlee Bokinskie, nieces and nephews and their families, Lecia (Brad) Woodbury, Todd (Lisa) Copling, Jillauna (Kelly) Mower, Troy (Malai) Copling, Nathan (Lori) Copling, Aleena (Trond) Pedersen, Ryan Copling. A graveside service will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park located at 3401 South Highland Drive on Saturday November 18 at 11 AM. Family and Friends are invited to an Open House at her home that day from 1 to 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Utah Symphony is suggested by the family.
