Timothy Paul Dahlquist passed away on Tuesday night, January 8, after surviving many recent medical challenges, including kidney dialysis, where he was often a reluctant patient. He grew up on a farm in Wisconsin, and was involved in numerous sports in high school. He was an excellent skier, being a part of a ski team and ski patrol. He went onto school at Kenosha Technical Institute, where he majored in Aeronautical Engineering. This led him to his love of flying, which resulted in his purchase of a Grumman two-seater airplane, where he took his future wife on their first date. His profession for most of his career was in sales, first tractors (for J.I. Case and then John Deere), and then large generators (for MQ Power), where he was very well respected by his customers and peers. His favorite pastime was fishing, along with camping and four-wheeling with special friends and relatives. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years (Judy), and his son (Nathan). He was preceded in death by his parents (Philip Walter Dahlquist) and his mother (Georgia Luth Dahlquist), and most recently last year by his brother (John "JD" Dahlquist). Tim was truly a fighter, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
