Susan Wiley (Sue) was born March 28, 1956, in Denver Colorado to Francis Hugh and Joyce Wiley. She passed away peacefully and painlessly in her brother Darrell’s home on June 2, 2023. Sue was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
As an excellent seamstress and quilter, she loved making and gifting baby quilts to new mothers. She brought joy to others through her sewing and always had projects going. Her ultimate pride and joy was her Grandchildren.
Her peaceful place was at her brother’s beach house in Monterey, California where you would find her reading books on the beach. A big Golden State Warrior fan, she enjoyed watching games with her sister Ann. Sue was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in all her church callings and especially loved working with little children in Primary.
She had a wonderful inviting smile that brought joy to her family, friends and those who cared for her in the last months of her life.
She is survived by her children Megan Hill (Michael), Kyle Mackay (Megan Lynn), Tanner Mackay (Leslie) and Cameron Mackay, (Kayla); 8 grandchildren Mason, Maddie, Maxwell, Lachlan, Ethan, Bentley, Calder, and Hailey; her sister Ann (Jim) and her brother Darrell (Debbie).
