He was born September 25, 1919, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Emily May Holmes Morgan and James Lowell Morgan. He graduated from South High School in 1936, and married Audry Kynaston February 10, 1942, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. His life was filled with love for his wife and his family. He had a beautiful tenor voice and music was always encouraged in his home. Bob had a love of words, and insisted on correct grammar and pronunciation. His keen sense of humor was well-known, and he always had a positive outlook on life. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Canada. Early in his career, he was self-employed, servicing and selling typewriters. He also worked many years as a buyer in the Purchasing Department for the LDS Church. Throughout his life, he served in many church callings, and was a great example to his family and dear friends. In 1990, Audry suffered a massive stroke, which left her unable to speak or walk. Bob cared for Audry with great love and compassion for eight years following her stroke, until her death in 1998. They are now enjoying a wonderful reunion on the other side of the veil.
