I always tell people you helped me get pregnant 😉. Gary and I had been trying to conceive for many years. We went the medical route with no success. All the medicine and shots made me super sick and I was mentally tired.  Initially I had come to you for assistance with my shoulder pain. Your hands were magic! You could soothe the pain I always carried in my shoulder. Your massages were very healing. One day I showed up for my appointment and you asked if we could try body talk. That day forever changed my life. We worked many hours on healing my mental pains along with my physical pains. You  taught me to allow Christ to heal my wounds. You always amazed me with how close you were to Jesus Christ. Gary and I were very poor at that time. There was no way I could have paid you for what you did for me.  You knew this and never made me feel less of a person. Instead you made it seem like I would be doing you a favor by  trading for all those sessions. I remember sewing and cleaning for you and thinking you were doing way more for me than I was ever doing for you. When I finally conceived I was deathly sick. I spent 4 months on bed rest and never had a day without the constant nausea and throwing up.  You knew what could help and I will never forget slippery elm.  I have to laugh about it now. It tasted so bad it would make me gag. It took away the nausea but the taste was so bad I would question if it was worth it. You were so knowledgeable with herbs and natural healing. You bought me my first natural healing book and you sent me on a journey of learning how to heal myself. Now I use my talents of kinesiology to heal myself, my family and hundreds of other people. Thank you for inspiring me to keep searching, growing and learning.  Thank you for teaching me the power of music. Thank you for being my friend. And thank you for always being a great support to my mom. I will forever be in your debt for that alone. 💕

What a great picture!  I always loved your laugh.  We’ve known each other for 25 years, both working hard raising 3 sons. You did a good job! I loved working with you in the Primary organization; one of the best choristers ever. Remember when you taught the kiddies the Crusaders Hymn(Beautiful Savior) & what about when they all threw a beach ball singing ‘we are as different as the sun and the sea’. Great memories. What a great teacher. You even taught the small children beautiful things. Thank you for your great service to my family providing music for both my mother & grandmothers funerals.  You were there for me when things were tough.  I loved our talks at the library and getting to know you even better during your illness. It has been said that you could be straight to the point. Indeed. What a great trait. I will miss you dear friend. Your family will always cherish your legacy and words of wisdom.  

I have benefited from knowing Renee for over 20 years.  I remember her as kind, compassionate, insightful, and responsible.  She was a model of both humility and strength, both kindness and fearlessness, all at the same time.  Her optimism would often break out in open and deep laughter which fueled the hopefulness she always carried with her.  I loved her spiritual insights. They made me think deeply about possibilities of understanding for my own life.  I am a much better person for knowing Renee.  She is someone I will always feel comfortable calling one of my best friends.

Renee, you and I first became friends as students of music at Olympus High School, and when our friendship renewed 15 or so years later, music continued as a bond between us.  Our children were friends at church and school, and your dedication to them was clear.  You loved them. You lived your mortal life fearlessly, and your faith in our Savior and Heavenly Father never wavered, no matter how difficult the challenges. So many times i heard your love for God overflow in your words.  It was beyond words to express. You faced the trials of life with love and faith, and helped us around you to do the same.

I love you and will miss you, Renee. Till we meet again, dear neighbor and friend.

I met Renee at Myotherapy College where we both worked as TA's for Touch for Health. Renee knew so many things. She shared her knowledge with me and many others. Her opinions were respected and you always knew where you stood with Renee. I know she loved her family and they loved her. We talked at the Christmas parties at Myotherapy and she would tell me about her family. Renee will be missed and I add my support and love to her loved ones at this time of loss.  May you feel peace and comfort that we all send you at this time.

I was lucky enough to have worked many years at Myotherapy College with Renee and she was a real treasure!  Her high energy personality always kept us laughing and she  always kept us thinking! She added so much to our school and to the family that we called Myotherapy.  She was like the crazy aunt that we always looked forward to spending time with.  Her smile, her sense of humor and her lively personality will definitely be missed.  Thanks Renee for being you!

I meet Renee at Myotherapy as an instructor. She was very welcoming and very friendly willing to help and teach what she know about healing  I was her TA in her Reflexology classes and she 
and I would talk about Touch for Health and Kinesiology all the time. She was always introducing body talk to everyone! I will miss her infectious smile and great laugh as well. My condolences to your family for their loss. RIP my friend.

I met Rene at Myotherapy College. She was always happy. She was so generous with all she knew. Every time I ran into her ( she going my coming in to the school) she would deposit a bit of knowledge and leave me laughing or smiling.  So times she just knew what I needed when ever I needed it. She was such an amazing body worker she helped people even when we weren't on her table. This world will be missing a truly amazing person. I wish we could all live as a straight shooter like Rene was. I always liked how she was right up front with her feedback. Thank you to her family for letting us have her for the short time. Peace be with you my friend. 

Renee Cook is an amazing woman!!!  Our relationship spans 20 years of shared knowledge, intense discussions and joyous belly laughs!!!
We met at MCU, and were peers in the Massage and Naturalpathic World.  At one point, Renee was my TA for Reflexology.  She would also come into my Survey of Bodywork Class and give the students an overview of BodyTalk.  I have never met a more knowledgeable person!  She was an incredible teacher with a compassionate heart!  But, man, could that lady be intense and in your face!!!  Ha...that’s one of the reasons why I loved Renee so much—you always knew where you stood with that lady—because, she would tell you!!!
Renee helped me and my family many times over with her incredible intuition and knowledge while using BodyTalk.
I will miss her brilliant mind, her goodness, her infectious laugh, the hours of just talking and her overall person!!!

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Renee’s passing. Although I am glad she is out of pain and in a better place, she will be missed. Over the past 8 years, Renee has had a very needed healing influence in my life. She understood and helped me in ways that others could not.
