Margie Carpenter Steck

Born in Manti, Utah, Margie was the cherished daughter of Eugene and Lucille Carpenter. She was sealed for time and all eternity to her husband, Bud A. Steck, and together they built a loving home for their family in what is now Millcreek City, Utah.

Margie was the devoted mother of three sons—Ricky, Douglas, and Garth. She is survived by her 3 sons and their wives, Diana, Dianna, and Becky; as well as seven of her eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.

A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Margie served faithfully in numerous callings throughout her life. Her unwavering dedication to her faith, her family, and her community touched the lives of many beyond her immediate circle.

Margie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her. A special thanks to her long time extended family in the Ridgedale Ward. And her new close friends at Copper Creek Assisted living where she has spent the last year.

A viewing will take place on Friday, April 25th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106.

A graveside service will follow the viewing at 1:00 PM located at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 in the Sunrise section.
