Our dear, loving mother and grandmother passed away March 20th peacefully at home surrounded by her two sons. Born January 1, 1925 in Filiatra Messinia, Greece to John and Theodora Kitsas Patsa. Married Gregory Panouses in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 21, 1957.
She was always the center of the family and the true matriarch of the family. She will be remembered for her love, her whit and generous help for others.
She is survived by her two sons, John (Patricia) and Chris and granddaughter, Dena Marie Panouses. Preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Dena was a life time member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox church.
Viewing will be held on Monday, March 26th at 6:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, 279 South 300 West, Salt Lake City, Utah. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 27th at 11:00 am. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
