She was predeceased by her husband of 75 years, Ben W. Covington and her son Richard.
Virginia is survived by her children, Steve (Elaine) of Yorktown, VA, Glenn (Judy) of Hayes, VA, Lee Ann (Antonio Laso) of Alexandria, VA; and her daughter-in-law, Laurie of Chesapeake, VA. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Kenneth, Karen, Tal, and Benjamin; and four great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Audrey Hines (Bill) of Maryville, TN.
A visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm at Bon Air Baptist Church on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
