KNACHEL, Ralph Howard "Terri," 76, of Chesterfield, Va., peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on July 19, 2014, while surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vergie and Chester Buchanan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary A. Knachel. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated a printing business in the Hanover area before his retirement from the business sector. He was the proud father of son, Kurt (Leslie) and daughter, Michelle Cooney (Kurt) and grandfather of Kyle and Victoria Knachel. Also surviving are a brother and two sisters. A memorial service with visitation will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Harvest Glen Community Center, 300 Pumpkin Place.
