Marion Faye Worsham passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. She was a native of Dinwiddie County and a lifelong resident of Powhatan Virginia. She loved and cherished her parents, the late James Goodwyn and Pearle Chance Ford. Faye was preceded in death by brother James Bolling Ford and sister, Linda Ford Matlock.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert “Bobby” Worsham Jr.; a sister and brother, Joan F. Groome and Albert E. Ford; a precious son Richard Lee Worsham (Sherri) and their children, Hunter Worsham, Hannah Jones (Alex) and Emma Faye Worsham; great grandson Isaac; a precious daughter Bobbie Faye Stiltner (Chris) and their sons Russell C. Stiltner (Sara) and Matthew F. Stiltner (Lauren); nieces and nephew and one cherished niece Joan W Green (Donnie) and their children.
Faye’s calling in life was to be a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, working in their yard and garden, refinishing antique furniture and most of all spending time with her family. Faye never forgot a birthday, anniversary or special occasion, and everyday she carried out loving acts of kindness for her family and anyone who needed her. Faye found her greatest joy in loving her husband, caring for their dog, Rosie and nurturing and caring for her children and grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238, at 11:00 am. Flowers accepted at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family is grateful for memorial donations made to the Powhatan Rescue Squad.
