Kathleen Jo Heiser

Kathleen Jo Heiser, 82, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024 in Wylie, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy J. Henesey and her father, Joseph E. Henesey.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Charles Samuel. Heiser, Jr.; her children, Ken Costello (Lisa) from Morgantown, WV, Charleen (Rodger) Bach of Wylie, Texas, Charles Darrin (Rebecca) Heiser of Mechanicsville, VA and Christopher Heiser of Richmond, Va. She is survived by nine loving grandchildren, Zachary (Brynley), Tyler, Nathan, Chandler, Caitlin, Sydney, Ian, Canon and Austin. She is also survived by her sister, Dorleen (Bruce) Koopmann of Varina, VA and Joseph E.(Dora) Henesey of Poquoson, VA.
Kathleen was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She met her husband, Charles, in McKees Rocks, PA in 1967. They married just a year later. They moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1972, which would be their home for 52 years. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and would talk to anyone who would listen. She was involved in Boy Scouting for over 20 years, serving with Pack and Troop 867. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a firm testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
The family will receive friends for visitation/viewing on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 9:30am - 10:45am at the Bon Air Ward Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 10660 Duryea Rd. North Chesterfield, VA 23235. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at a later date in Dravosburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, act.alz.org/donation, in tribute to Kathleen.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the last few years.
