IN THE CARE OF
Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel
PATRICK, Joseph D., age 62, died peacefully on March 19, 2011 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Sue Patrick; along with his daughter, Suzanne Drake and husband, John; as well as his only grandson, Justin Moore. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Patrick and wife, Gina; along with their daughters, Erin and Katelyn. His parents, Joseph Gus and Freda Patrick, preceded him in death.
Joe's interests in life included his love for model trains and a passion for constructing military tanks and airplanes. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father and faithful friend and in heaven he is now the mighty conductor of a heavenly train. May your steam engine take you to places you've never been before.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, Va., with funeral services beginning at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will take place at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, March 22, at Red Lane Baptist Church Cemetery, 2095 Red Lane Road, Powhatan, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Virginia, 7231 Forest Ave., Richmond, Va., whom the family wishes to thank for all their loving care these past few months.
