Denise Miller Olzer

Denise Miller Olzer, age 60 of Powhatan, VA passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024. She is survived by her husband Rick, parents Charlotte and Wayne Miller, children Alexis (Josh), Reed (Jessica), Kaila (Andre), and grandkids Cheyanne, Laiylah, Berkley, Alaina, Jonah, cousins and friends. She was born October 8, 1964 in Richmond, VA, met her husband Rick in 1998 and was happily married for over 24 years. She retired from E & R Sales where she was the operations manager for 20 years. She was a softball/baseball mom, and a fur baby mom of two golden retrievers, Jake and Riley. She liked cooking shows and crafting, and loved Cape Hatteras and shelling on the beach. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 22nd at Woody Funeral Home- Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA. A service will be held for Denise at 1030 AM on Saturday, November 23rd at Woody Funeral Home- Parham Chapel, 1771 N Parham Road, Henrico, VA. Burial will follow at Westhampton at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from St. Mary's, St. Francis, and Duke. A special thank you to all the nurses at St. Mary's infusion center.
