Charles Edward Richardson

Charles was a US Postal worker for 35 years and a successful real estate agent in Philadelphia and then in Richmond. He belonged to the Certified Residential Association and was recognized in the Realtor Millionaire Club.

Charles belonged to St. Philips Episcopal Church in Richmond, VA and was also a faithful member of the House of Prayer in Philadelphia for many years.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Bernice Louise Covington Richardson, his three children; Saundra Johnson and husband Randal, Charles Richardson, Jr. and wife Marguerite, and Karen Richardson Carpenter. Five grandchildren; Tiffany Ashhurst-King, Michael Carpenter, Lauren Curtis, Charles Richardson III and Marguerite Richardson.

Four great grandchildren; Jonathan King, Ashlyn King, Taylor Carpenter and Milania Carpenter

His loving sister Mattie Louise Phillips, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Woody Funeral home, Huguenot Chapel on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 1:00 to 1:45pm. with a memorial service following at 2:00pm
