MILLER, Agnes Cook, 89, of Mosley, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 15, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Sherman William Myers; and her husband James Bert Miller, Sr. She is survived by her children, Ema Jean Brooks, Marlene Yvonne Rudd (Melvin), Cheryl M. Hall (Ron), and Cynthia Ruth Myers; her siblings, Paul Cook (Lily Mae), Mildred Palmer, Ruth Carneal, David Cook, and Rachel Cook; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
She was faithful to the Lord until the end. Agnes took great pride in being a great wife and mother, who lived her Christian life leading by example. She especially enjoyed playing her favorite hymns on the piano. She dearly loved her family and friends, and we dearly loved her. She will be greatly missed by all.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 19, 2014, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian. A celebration of her life will be held at 10am, Monday, October 20, at the funeral home. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
