Sharon Sue Young, 64, of Midland, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, February 2, 2018. Sharon was born in Roswell, New Mexico on November 10, 1953 to Ernest and Sarah Hawthorne. She married Raymond Young on March 12, 1975. They were happily married for 42 years.
Sharon was certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She worked as a Board Certified Paralegal in Estate Planning and Probate Law. She was one of 22 individuals in her field in the state of Texas.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father Ernest Hawthorne and daughter Sharah Danielle Young. Sharon is survived by her husband, Raymond Young; daughter, Randi Kelly and husband Ryan; mother, Sarah Hawthorne; sister, Leverda Otterbach; sister, Mildred Reaves; brother, Stanford Hawthorne; sister, Carolyn Boggio; brother, Robert Hawthorne; along with numerous other family and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel in Midland, Texas with Steven Adair officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Midland, Texas.
