Nancy Lea White

Nancy was born in Taylor, PA but got to Texas as quickly as she could. She was a retired Midland County employee. In her youth, she was a talented softball player and met many lifelong friends on the softball field. In her later years, she enjoyed building Lego models and playing games with her great nephews, Chase, Garret and Spencer White, Zachary and Austin Hunter, and her great niece, Kylie Wilson. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Cal and Caroline White; brother, Chuck; and life partner, Evelyn Raines. She will be missed by brothers, Phil White and wife Beth; David White and wife Gretchen; sister, Ellen Meyer and husband, Bruce; nephews, Mike White and wife Shannon, and Brad White; and nieces, Tiffany White; Debra Hunter and husband, Terry; Allison Wilson and husband, Rob. There will be a Rosary at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel at 7 pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Graveside services have been scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Monsignor Larry Droll officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Leah Atchley, John Stiles, William Bilbo, Big John Allbright, Paul Thompson, Robert Webb, and Bob Weddle.
