Margaret L. King

Mrs. Margaret Forman King went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 12:45 P.M. after a long illness at Midland Memorial Hospital in the Hospice unit. She was born May 31, 1925 in Munday, Texas to Benjamin and Veida Forman. She was the oldest of 6 children. She was raised in Munday, Texas and Hobbs, New Mexico. Margaret met and married the love of her life Daniel B. King on October 6, 1951. On May 13, 1973 they all welcomed their only granddaughter Michelle’e Rene’e Raulston. They also had the joy of seeing both of their great grandsons Shelby and Dustin. Margaret loved her family and friends with everything she had, and would give the shirt off her back for anyone who needed it.Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Veida Forman; two brothers, Billy and Jim Forman; and one sister, Veda Forman Medlinger. She leaves here on earth her husband, Daniel B. King of Midland; her beloved daughter, Bennie King Gooch of Midland; her granddaughter, Michelle Raulston Sutherland and her wife Tina Nicole Fulton of Midland; and the two boys that were her life as well, Shelby Bryant Forman Sutherland and Dustin James Sutherland, both of Midland. She also has two sisters, Bennie Jean Forman Buckner and her husband Cotton Buckner of Waco, Texas and Bernice Forman Hoye and her husband Charles Hoye of Hobbs, New Mexico. And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was a very loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Friend who will be missed very much.
