Lynn was born in Austin, Texas on June 7, 1951 to Daniel Richard and Ruby Lee Poole. She graduated from Midland High School in 1969. Lynn was married to Michael Foster on April 1, 1991. They were married 27 years.
Lynn worked as a Geo Tech with Great Western Drilling for 26 years and retired in 2016. Lynn had several hobbies and interests. She loved cross-stitching, bowling and reading. Lynn was a wonderful person and loved by many. She had movie star looks, a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She never found fault with others, took great pride in her work ethic and instilled those values in her children. She delighted in her grandchildren and great grandson. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; brother Robert Poole; sister Patricia Strickland and her mother and father in law, Robert and Dorothy Foster.
Lynn is survived by her husband Michael Foster; son Jesse (Kari) Sharp; son Jeremy Sharp; daughter Jennifer (Daryl) Baker; daughter Renee (Brent) Compton; grandchildren Josie, Jeremy and Justin Sharp, Jacey and Jakob Moyers and Hunter and Parker Compton; great grandson Mason Moyers; sister Carolyn Barbier; brothers Richard, Ronnie and Roland Poole and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Dick Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In Iieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Home Hospice of Odessa.
