Jimmie H. Penn

She was the daughter of Boots and Happy Howell of Cross Plains, Texas. After graduating from the University of North Texas, she met and married Gene, and moved to Midland in 1954. She was an active member of the American Contract Bridge League and was a Gold Life Master.

She is survived by daughters Genie Yockey of Louisville, Kentucky and Sandie White of Burke, Virginia, and her son Don and wife, Cristie of Westlake, Texas; her grandchildren Jolie Yockey of Nashville, Tennessee, Lauren White of Fairfax, Virginia, Jonathan Penn of Encino, California; Alexander White of Seoul, South Korea, Holly and husband Jon Piorkowski of Dallas, Texas; great-granddaughter Kylie Yockey of Nashville; and many special friends at the Allison Bridge Center.

Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel.
