Daniel J Lang

Daniel John lang was born June 8, 1955 along with his twin brother Donald James Lang to Douglas and Norma Lang at Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids Michigan. As a kids you never saw one twin without the other. He was a mechanic and always involved in anything and everything having to do with dirt track racing. He and Don both would give the shirt off their back to anyone who needed it. The stories were always so elaborate sometimes you’d think oh that’s unreal. His smile was infectious and his laugh was contagious. When we lost Don in March a piece of Dan left too. Dan lost his battle with cancer on 9/8/2024 shortly after being diagnosed.

He was preceded in death by father Douglas Lang and step mother Marilyn Lang, brother in law Matt Erickson, brother in law Mel Basch, Sister in law Debbie Sheen and twin brother Donald Lang.

He left behind Mother Norma Vandenbrink, Step father Gilbert Vandenbrink, Son Daniel John Lang II, daughter-in-law Dawn Lang, grandson Jared Lang, daughter Amber Danelle Pyle, Son-in-law Brandon Pyle, granddaughter Kambri Hodges, grandson Kaden Hodges, granddaughter Addelynn Pyle, sister Ellen Harris, sister Linda Basch, brother Michael Lang, sister Cindy Dyksterhouse, sister Barbara Erickson, numerous nieces and nephews, and an abundance of friends.

He was loved immensely and is now reunited with his twin Don and will be greatly missed.
