Christopher Rene Prado

Chris was born on September 19, 1984 along with his twin sister, Shea Christine Prado Munoz in Midland, Texas. He was raised in Sweetwater where he was very active in school sports and in church activities. The family moved back to their hometown of Midland in 2001 where Chris attended Robert E. Lee High School and later went to work in the oilfields of West Texas. Chris was a very Christian and loving young man. He was giving and instrumental in caring for his mother, sisters, and niece as well as his aunt during a long illness and was a very family-oriented man.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vera and D.O. Britt and Dorthy and Jose Prado; brother, Scott Jankowiak; aunt, Jane Britt and Rebecca Unger-Currier.

He is survived by his loving mother, Kaye Britt Prado; father, Daniel; his twin sister, Shea Christine; nieces, Christina and Harley; nephew, Barret; sister, Kali Jo; older brother, Joe Jankowiak; uncle Bill Britt; cousin, Krystal Britt, Nino, Jo Ashley and Sarah Prado all of Midland; uncle Jerry Britt of Fredericksburg; aunt Lydia and uncle Don Thompson; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends whose lives he touched and loved him dearly.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 with Pastor Gilbert Bela officiating.
