Greg proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1979-1983 as a Computer Systems Specialist and Weapon System Integrator. He continued to serve his country working for the U.S. Department of Defense for over 35 years in various capacities, supporting the software development and maintenance for numerous aircraft, chiefly the S-3 Viking and its later variants (anti-submarine and surveillance aircraft) and the V-22 Osprey (a tiltrotor aircraft with the landing and take-off utility of a helicopter along with the speed/range capabilities of a turboprop). At home, Greg was mechanically handy and preferred to stay on his feet, meticulously maintaining the yard, tending to his DIY pond, or tinkering in the garage. At the end of a busy day, he enjoyed strumming a guitar with his miniature schnauzer, Oliver, by his side.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol Miller; children, Paul, Ryan (Gabriela), and Allen (Sarah); grandchildren, Michael, Alexander, Madeline, and Elliott; and siblings, Stan (Cyndi) and Steve (Becky).
