Jessica Rose (Sportelli) Leis, age 46, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024 after a battle with plasma cell leukemia, affecting only one in a million. She was born November 21, 1977 in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Jessica was also one in a million in every aspect of her life. She loved woodworking, painting, building, sewing, cooking, baking and holiday decorating. Jessica enjoyed the beach, kayaking and spending time outdoors.
Jessica is preceded in death by her husband, James Michael Leis.
Jessica is survived by her children, Lacey Albright, Nash Hunt; stepson, Andy Leis; mother, Melanie (Michael) Keenan; father, John Sportelli; grandma, Blanche Gabbard; mother-in-law, Sherri Yates and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm, Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A funeral service will follow at 1pm, with Pastor Matt Hinkle officiating.
