James Lewis Thirtyacre age 71 passed away January 7, 2021 under the care of Hospice of Butler & Warren County in Franklin, Ohio. He was born on September 15, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Fredrick Louis and Ann Louise (Weingard) Thirtyacre. James is proceeded in death by his beloved wife Gail, mother Ann, father Fredrick and sister Carol Sue. He is survived by sons Shawn Thirtyacre and Douglas Anderson, daughter Lori (Cary) Kinder, brothers Robert Francis, Thomas Edward and Kenneth Stephen Thirtyacre and sister Deborah Ann (Ron) Puder as well as grandchildren Bailey, Gage and Brady. James was a veteran of the Navy serving on the USS Midway and fought in the Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of dedicated service. He truly enjoyed spending time with family, especially trips to Norris Lake and Gatlinburg and manning the grill at family cookouts. He was an avid car enthusiast, new and old, and thoroughly enjoyed Nascar and drag racing. He was also known for his many hours on the lawn mower perfecting a well manicured lawn. Jim, as he was known to family and friends, and his ornery sense of humor will truly be missed by many. Memorial service will be held at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home January 21, 2021 from 5 to 6 pm. Inurnment will be at the Woodside Cemetery Niche Columbarium January 22, 2021 at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
