Duane E. Stahl Jr.

Duane E. Stahl Jr., age 87 of Medina, previously of Middleport, entered into rest on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Medina Memorial Hospital. Born August 23, 1930 in Middleport, Duane is the son of the late Duane E. and Ruby (Geiger) Stahl.

Duane graduated from Roy-Hart High School in 1948. He entered the US Army in 1951 and served until 1956 serving in Germany. He married Edith Clark on March 3, 1951. Edith died in 2010. Duane enjoyed fishing, boating and NASCAR.

Surviving Duane are his children: Dr. David (Marcia) Stahl, John (Karen) Stahl and Patricia (Victor) Pane; grandchildren: Dr. Celeste & Howard Balaban, Dr. Jeffery & Rachael Stahl, Sarah & Nicholas LaBarbera, Dr. Mark & Tonya Stahl, Melissa & Jon Aiello, Michelle (Joey Little) Pane and 10 great grandchildren. Sister of: Geraldine Owens. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street, Middleport, NY on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Private funeral services will be held on Monday, from the funeral home at 11 am. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY. There will be no visitation on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Middleport Library or Middleport Food Pantry.
