Peggy and family, we are so sorry to hear of Jean'passing.  Speaking for myself, I don't think I will ever be able to forget her. I never can remember a time when she wasn't smiling and laughing about one thing or another. Her singing was awesome. I can also remember Dad telling us the stories about all of them growing up together and going to school. Our family wants to extend our sympathy and prayers to you all.
Peggy, we became fast friends one summer and I just want you to know that I love you and will be praying for you.

I remember going over to her house and made homemade candy with her and her kids .she was and very sweet lady and loved praising the lord anywhere she went even if it was just a few of us hangout singing she will be truly missed… prayers to the family and friends….

I’ve known this family since I was born. I believe they were friends of our family before I was born. The families met through Hillview Baptist Church.  We all worshipped there on Denison Avenue for many years. I have many memories of God’s spirit moving and changing peoples lives during her singing! Many dinners and visits with one another and other family and friends that always seemed to break out in music and singing at some point during the night. Great memories of Sis Jean! I can only imagine all the singing, shouting and praising going on in Heaven right now! You will be missed down here but we will meet again.
