Tracy Manuel Dunevent of Orange Park, 78, was called home to heaven Tuesday, July 23, 2019 under the care of Heartland Hospice. He was born on January 9, 1941 in Thomson, Georgia. He joined the United States Navy at the age of 17 and retired after 20 years of service. He then spent 10 years in Civil Service.
Tracy was married to Sandra Ledford Dunevent for 32 years. He was a devoted member of Oakleaf Baptist Church and had a passion for collecting John Wayne keep sakes and miniature Mustang cars. Tracy is so very dearly loved by his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.
Tracy is survived by his wife, Sandra Ledford Dunevent, his sons, Michael Dunevent, Robert Dunevent and Jeremy Gulledge, and his daughters, Melanie Graham and April Stigler. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joseph Graham, Ashley Graham, Kyle Dunevent, Kathlyn Dunevent, Anthony Stigler and Sean Gulledge, and his 2 brothers, Joe Dunevent and Richard Dunevent.
A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at a later date at the Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral home, 3601 Old Jennings Rd., Middleburg, FL 32068. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Tracy’s memory to Heartland Hospice Services of Jacksonville.
