Heaven gained another glorious angel. Janet Elaine Price was born in Abingdon VA. On January 29, 1940. Married to Charles McVey on August 30, 1958. They raised two wonderful children, Phil and Denise. She was not only a beloved wife and mother, but mother-in-law to Rhonda and Tony. A beloved grandmother to Ashley and Anthony and great grandmother to Trinity, Emery, Tate and Dayton. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was an extraordinary woman who will truly be missed by all. Janet and her husband Charles are a retired cross county truck driving team. Her nickname was Iron Woman. An Iron Woman she most certainly was, although she was as tough as nails Janet always had a smile on her face and was always willing to welcome you with open arms and an open heart. Family was her happy place. Janet taught us about life and love. She taught us to be kind and forgiving. She taught us the true meaning of unconditional love. She was surrounded by her immediate family on her final day. As she took her last breaths the sun came out from the clouds which could only mean that she was with her lord and at peace.
