So saddened to hear that dear sweet Arlene passed away. 😢 My sincere condolences goes out to all of the family.  My thoughts & prayers will be with you in the upcoming days  & I only wish that I could've been there to be with all of you while going through this difficult time.  

There are so many memories & ties to her family that I wouldn't even know where to start. I was introduced to Arlene at the tender age of 2 & quickly became like family & got to experience things that I never would have otherwise because her family took me under their wings even to extent of affording me an allowance so I wouldn't feel left out when Arlene got hers. ❤️ On the other end of the spectrum, we also shared the traumatic event of her father's fatal heart attack while being alone with him & having to shoulder the responsibility of not only recognizing what was happening but taking action at just 6-7 years old long before there was 911.  She has remained in my heart even as the miles between us widened & our journeys took different paths along with all the memories we experienced and/or made that forever will be with me & grateful for her never ending friendship. You always had a special place in my heart which will forever remain & regret that we weren't able to meet up again before your sudden departure but forever grateful that we got to reconnect on a deeper level over the phone. My dear sweet friend you did well & now it's time to rest & be with your loved ones on the other side.   😘😇

So many memories of our childhood on Market st in Highspire what can I possibly say that will make things good there are no words what a great and loving all around person she was she will be greatly missed by all we were more then just friends more like family she was only 2 years older then me we grew up together all the memories I have of Arlene were great sorry I will not be able to attend the services on Saturday may Arlene RIP sending my Love

Always will miss my mother no matter where I'm at in life always miss her the most possible way she was a wonderful mother when I had her I wish I had her just a couple more years

We always had fun with our two aunts that came down just for one day just to say hello and talk to us just to see him for a little bit mother was in a very happy mood at that time being along with me just enjoying spending time with those two wow before they head back to PA.

Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Robert Dendy. She is survived by daughter, Melissa Lynn Boneno; son, Carl Edward Smee Dendy; granddaughter, Jennina Bell Herndon; grandson Luke Richard Boneno; great-grandsons: Johnny Lynn Herndon, Richard Gerald Herndon; Kenneth James Herndon and Elijah Paul Herndon; brothers: James E. (Jennifer) Smee and Charles E. Smee; sister, Christine (Dennis) Colledge; a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
