He was a loving husband to his wife Kristen and a loving father to his girls, Trinidy (age 13) and Stephanie (age 11). Steve is also survived by parents, Nancy (Robbie) Peyton and Lee Rosenbaum; brothers, Mike, Chris (Amber), and Scott (Roshelle) Rosenbaum; sisters, Carolyn (Chad) Landis and Rachel Rosenbaum; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Lexi, Ayden, Caleigh, Ashleigh, Nik, Kylie, Jayden, Evan, Talon, Colt, Mayzie, Remi, Kimber, William, Adriana, Brielle, and Shae; parents-in-law, Michele and Roger Larkins, Richard Johnson and Tonie Galiz; sister-in-law, Ashley (Alex) Moffat; brother-in-law, Zach (Mikki) Johnson; and numerous friends and loved ones.
Through the years, Steve has come a long way, from a high school dropout to working as an engineering technician for Sierra Space on the Dream Chaser project for NASA. He knew God had a plan for everything and frequently said, “There’s no way to explain it but God.” He would share his story, not to boast, but to always encourage those around him that, “If I can do it, you can do it!” and he was always willing to help you get there. Steve was a kid at heart, and loved being with the kids in his life. He felt his greatest accomplishment, above all else, was the love he and Kristen shared and the family they created.
