Loraine is survived by her children, Phillip (Lori) Layne, Lisa Layne, and Jeff (Angie) Layne; grandchildren, Megan (Chris) Cannon, Jenna (Luke) Diemunsch, Payton Layne, Jillian Layne, Cali Layne, Cason Layne; great-granddaughter, Waylin Cannon; sister, Linda (Jerry) Miracle and Best friend Geri (Larry) Porter.
Loraine started as a waitress at Frisch’s at a very young age and was promoted to manager at the Dayton Mall Frisch’s, which led her into the title of Area manager.
Her dedication, loyalty and hard work was the driving force for her success over the years at Frisch’s. Loraine took pride in obtaining several awards for her performance throughout her career. She retired after 45 years of service.
Loraine enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She is well known for her Buckeye candy around the holidays.
Loraine survived four different types of cancers and would appreciate donations to KHN Cancer Center (ketteringhealth.org/give/) and Ohio's Hospice of Dayton on Wilmington Ave (www.ohioshospice.org/give/) in leu of flowers.
Our family would like to thank those who have touched Loraine’s life and supported her through her journey.
