Calob Brooks, 19, of Miamisburg, passed away on Wednesday July 17, 2019. He was born May 5, 2000 in Dayton, Ohio. Calob was a graduate of Miamisburg High School in 2018, where he loved playing football for the Miamisburg Vikings and cheering on the Denver Broncos. He loved spending his time outdoors fishing, walking the dogs, boating and swimming. He also enjoyed playing video games, listening to music and legos. He is survived by his father, Andrew Brooks; mother, Alicia (Chris) Morrissey; brother, Camden Brooks; step-brothers, Wes Clouse and Jordan Morrissey; grandparents, Gary and Maida McCoy, Bill (Rachelle) Long and Tonya Morrissey; great-grandma, Sue Long; aunts and uncles, Emmanuel McCoy, Michael (Jessica) McCoy, Mendi (Shane) Zirkel, Billy Long, Brittanie and Brandon Sams, Bethany Pasley and Brittani and David Morrissey; his dogs, Sunny, KC, Zoie, and Chief; as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandpa, Dale Long; grandma, Loretta Williams and great-grandparents, Orville and Mary Mangeot. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday July 25, 2019 at the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, Miamisburg. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
