She was born on March 8, 1954 in Cuba to Melchor and Olga Somoano. She had three older brothers: Francisco, Luis, and Gumersindo. She and her parents briefly lived in Spain before moving to Miami, where she would begin the journey which defined her legacy: a devoted and loving mother and wife.
Teresita was kind, soft spoken, and wise. She was known for being a compassionate and loving person, always caring for others and doing so without hesitation.
At 15, she met her soulmate, Enrique, and they were inseparable for 55 years. Together they had a beautiful family which she cherished above everything else.
She is survived by her husband, Enrique Heredero, their three children, Enrique, Alina and Gabriel, their granddaughter, Elise, and her two brothers, Francisco and Luis Somoano.
