Rita Cease Lebowitz

Rita C. Lebowitz, beloved mother of Renee Eilen and Arthur Lebowitz, passed away on September 3 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Gerald Lebowitz, her sister Alice Weinstein, and brothers Henry Cease and Harold Cease. She is survived by her daughter, Renee Eilen and her husband Dr. Steve Eilen, her son, Arthur Lebowitz and his wife Chris Lebowitz, her grandchildren, Michelle Diggles, Whitney Pitt, and Andrew Lebowitz, her great-grandchildren, Kingston, Crew and Jett Lebowitz, her sister Barbara Bernstein, her brother Albert Cease, and numerous loving nieces, and nepews and other family members. All of us will always remember her as full of life, love, and a beautifully positive attitude, and we will miss her every day. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601. May her memory be a blessing.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami.
