No te conocí por mucho tiempo, pero doy gracias a Dios por haber tenido la oportunidad de conocerte y compartir  contigo. Aún ahora no puedo entender que no estés y yo me vea escribiendo estas letras para ti. Siempre me han fascinado las personas con un carácter de mie*** y el corazón pura miel, esas personas que son más sinceras y leales que nadie. Eso te definía y la verdad que admiraba eso en ti. Voy a recordarte con mucho cariño y tengo la certeza de que algún día nos volveremos a encontrar. 

Amigo, fue todo un placer para mí el haberte conocido, tú fuiste y serás mi primer héroe después de la vacuna, siempre te ponía de ejemplo y asi lo seguiré haciendo. Tus anécdotas con Tania me vienen a la mente y donde quiera que esté tengo que reírme. Gracias por todo, siempre te tendré presente y te recordaré con todo el respeto  que te merecías.

        It doesn’t seem like anything that comes to mind is enough. I am in awe. I can’t believe you’re gone… a few weeks ago you were at my house with the new tow truck and told me to take it for a drive. I came back and to answer your question of “What do you think?” I put a For Sale sign on the front windshield of our truck, “there’s nothin’ like drivin’ a new whip” I remember you, me, Orly and my dad were all laughing about it. I enjoyed our discussions about cars and trucks. About all the modifications you were going to make, and it really bums me out that you didn’t even get to enjoy the C10 or even your new tow truck. You never said no. Not to me, my dad, my brother, and especially my mom. I am so sorry you were taken before your time. I hope you found peace knowing that your knowledge, wisdom, love, and experience was spread, enjoyed, and listened-to by many of us, myself included. Give papito a hug for me. Te quiero tío and I will always miss you. 

Jorge, as a younger brother I always look out for you. I don’t know why god took you so soon.

Tío you had such a bright, fiery light. Que gozo tenerte como tío— you understood my adventurous & independent ways. And you raised my cousins with that same love for life.  I will miss hugging you every time I was home for a family party. I miss the way you smiled from your eyes, the way there was always some mischief in the air. I remember when we took Disney by storm as a family, what an awesome day of repeat rollercoaster rides, racing cars & laughter. You were the anchor & apoyo for so many of us— the permission to live life wholeheartedly como nos da la gana. And an incredible example of what it looks like to be there for your family & community. I love you. Jaline is going to graduate school, I promise. Rest In Peace tío 💟
