I think of Danny often. We bonded at Nickelodeon over our Cuban heritage and he often brought me back 'Cuban goodies' when he went back home to Miami. Un pastel or un croquet. When I had the chance to say congrats to Cuban actor, Andy Garcia on a phone call, he held my hand. I was so nervous! And then we lost touch. On my wedding in 2011 he sent me one of the gifts I picked out from my registry. It literally was the best package received! Always thoughtful, always kind. I think of him quite often and hope that he's looking down and present with all those that he loved. - You were an amazing guy Danny. I miss you! Love, Mirian Arias

My most cherished moment will alway being Danny’s laugh. It’s a laugh that was, without a doubt, THE MOST contagious laugh in all the universe. 

Danny and my sister were in the same grade together at Little St Brendan. They had to do some sort of dance for school and he came over our house to practice. After practice we all had dinner. Once everyone was getting to clear the table, it was just us two - Danny gets up and the table cloth got stuck on him and he almost pulled the entire table with him. I will NEVER forget the face that he made and how hard we both laughed. I thought I was going to pass out from how hard we both were laughing. 

No matter how old Danny or I ever got, that moment stood still in my mind forever. I could see his face and hear his laugh as I write this. I don’t believe I will ever have such a beautiful and wholesome memory again. 

I am eternally grateful for him to allow me  to hold space for me in his life. Thank you.
