Levey, Burton R., 81, died peacefully on April 9. Burt was Miami to the core. During his years at University of Miami undergraduate and Law Schools, he was Student Council President and was honored as a member of ODK and Iron Arrow. Burt served in the USAF during the Korean War, achieving the rank of Sergeant Major. Throughout his career, Burt expertly assisted clients in all areas of the law during a time when attorneys didn’t have the luxury of specialization. Burt was an avid Canes and Dolphins fan, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren. Burt is survived by children Beth (Robert) Sackstein, Jeff (Martha) Levey, Jodie (Mark) Rasch and grandchildren David & Danielle Sackstein, Michael & Josh Levey and Jacob & Jonathan Rasch. Graveside service, Thurs., April 11, 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Nebo, 5505 NW 3rd St., Miami.
