Beatriz Reyes

Beatriz Reyes was born in Mariquita Colombia on September 30, 1934 to Luis Alberto Reyes y María Antonia Reyes Restrepo. She was born into a large family and was blessed with having loving parents that instill love and faith.

After her childhood, she studied to be a school teacher because of her love for children. Then traveled to United States 1957 and eventually her brother and sisters followed her to this country.

She loved spending time with her family. Also, loved gardening, sports and traveling. Was a fan of the Dolphins, Heat, and Marlins. She was friendly and caring to all and made many friends. That love for others is what was indeed special.

She was a strong woman of faith, a Great mother and a loving grandmother. She dedicated her life to serve her community as well as others.

Left behind with loving memories are her son Juan (Diana) Ferreira, granddaughters Joanna and Isabella Ferreira, sisters Inez Ramirez, Cecilia (Javier)Alvarez, Gloria Reyes, brother Miguel Reyes, and all her many nephews and nieces.

Beatriz was truly a blessing to the people she inspired and loved. She will be greatly missed.
